The Dark Knight Rises Trailer 3

Don’t worry if you missed the other two trailers for “The Dark Knight Rises.” Those are ancient history and we’re all about what’s new. One thing we can say about this most recent hype-inducing clip: it sure is a bright day in Gotham.

It seems like this is going to be the strongest summer of superhero movies we’ve seen yet with “The Avengers,” “The Dark Knight Rises” and “The Amazing Spider-Man” leading the charge. Way better than last year when The Green Lantern ruined everything.

The Batman character in particular works well around our household because his lack of super powers leads to a lot of discussions about how he’s still able to be a superhero. Anything that gives dads a chance to talk ninjitsu, smoke bombs and human aerodynamics has a built in advantage. We’ll have to see what opportunities The Avengers and Spider-Man afford us…although I’ve heard that Spidey still doesn’t have web shooters. That’s criminal.
