Harry Potter Flies to Kindle Lending Library

Beginning this June, wizardophiles will be able to get their hands on every Harry Potter book via Amazon Kindle’s Lending Library feature. Yeah you’ll have to be a paying Amazon Prime member, but you should have already signed up for that service to get movies and all sorts of other content for your fancy new Kindle Fire.

The Lending Library itself is one of the best benefits of the Kindle-Amazon ecosystem allowing users to read popular and contemporary books for free. Some of us (me) still like to tell folks we’re totally into the classics like Tolstoy and Melville when in reality we’re simply limiting ourselves to the free books on our eReader platform of choice. This Harry Potter news, might be the motivation us cheapskates need to finally spring for the full Kindle experience

The seven Harry Potter books join more than 145,000 other titles available through Amazon’s Lending Library. Are you sold on Amazon Prime yet? Sound off on Twitter at @playgrounddad.

      • Our Mission

The average dad spends about 6 hours a week with his kids. That’s not perfect, but today’s dads are doing better than the previous generation. PlaygroundDad.com is for the dads who dare to make the most of these 6 sacred hours–no smart phones; no conference calls–just quality time.

Playground Dad connects this new generation of fathers with the events and products that help them spend better time with their newborn to grade school aged kids.
