Frog Fest

It seems that there are two types of kids: those who seek out bugs and reptiles in order to observe and play with them, and those who refuse to play in the back yard after a solitary lizard sighting.  Either kid (and their caretaker) can benefit from and enjoy the Frog Fest at Tree Frog Treks.  Tree Frog Treks creates a hands on experience with rescued reptiles and amphibians for children with the goal of teaching them to think critically and gain respect for the planet’s biodiversity.

March 17th  marks the First Annual Frog Fest Fundraiser.  Your family will have the opportunity to meet animals, get a snake massage, and enjoy refreshments including green eggs and ham, wine, Irish Coffee and other snacks.  The event will also host a silent auction with gifts from local companies such as the San Francisco Zoo and the de Young Museum.

Frog Fest is open to all ages and takes place March 17th from 5-9 pm at Tree Frog Trek-Frog Hall located at 2114 Hayes St in San Francisco.  This is a free event, although donations are welcome and all profits benefit the scholarship fund.   For more information visit: http://www.treefrogtreks.com/programs/events.htm
