    About Chris Moreno

    Chris Moreno is born and raised in the Kansas City, Missouri metro area. He holds a Bachelors of Science in Political Science, from the University of Central Missouri. Aside from writing for PlaygroundDad.com, he is the Assistant General Manager and Director of Operations for the Kansas City Renegades, a professional indoor football team. Previously Chris Moreno served as Liaison for Missouri Governor Jay Nixon, was one of six on Governor Nixon's Transition Team and served as Political Director for then Attorney General Nixon's campaign for Governor. For over a year, Chris has volunteered his time helping lead a team of former law enforcement and research professionals helping the parents of a missing teenager, Kara Kopetsky, find their daughter. Chris Moreno is a cheesy "Superdad" to his son and daughter. He loves football, politics, country music, church and doing cheesy dad things.
