For many of us this week was the first one back. Back into our routines after a long holiday break.
We crawled out of bed this week, not believing our alarm clocks were actually going off and that we had to rally; get the kids off to school and; get ourselves into a state acceptable for human interaction and actual productivity.
The whole thing seemed unbelievable.
But, alas. We made it.
We’re back into the thick of things. The strange thing about it all is that even though we’re coming off a long holiday break, we really really need this upcoming weekend. Like, really need it.
While school is back in session and winter sports may be dominating our weekends, this upcoming Friday evening is a great time to relax, pat ourselves on the back for “successfully” re-entering the real world and reward the family with a good ‘ole fashioned family movie night.
Our wallets and credit cards are still recovering from all the damage done to them over the last month or so. Let’s do ourselves a favor: Stay in, grab whatever snacks are in the pantry and enjoy some of the awesome movies that are now available on Frontier Communication’s Frontier Movie Room.
New additions are awesome family films like The Secret Life of Pets where we find out what our pets do when we’re not at home. We saw this one and it’s hilarious. It’s starring the familiar voices of Louis C.K., Eric Stonestreet and Kevin Hart. Check it out this weekend.
Other family friendly highlights are the classic The BFG and Kubo and the Two Strings, an animated adventure that takes place in Japan and tells the story of a young boy on a journey. The kid also does the best origami you have ever seen.
Check out Frontier Movie Room, save some money this weekend and enjoy a great movie with the family.
