There has been so much hype around the new Google Wave technology that we were excited to get an invite and tests drive the features. We were most excited to be early adopters and learn how to use the tool to gain an advantage for our business. Could we use Wave to make better connections with partners and customers? Could we leverage it to strategically communicate across social media channels?
We’ve been playing with Google Wave for about a month now and, bottom line, we’re not smart enough to fully grasp how we should be using it. Every Wave, conversation, IM session, chat (not sure what to call it) that we’ve had with new users, starts with the question “what should we be doing here?”
We want to “get” Wave and figure out how to use it to maximize its potential. To that end, we need to give out 15 Google Wave invites here and now. Simply comment on this blog and say “I need an invite” to enter. At 12am PST on Wednesday 11/18/2009, we will randomly select the recipients, send out the Google Wave invites and post the winners in the comments section.
All we ask is that some of the folks that get the invites circle back and comment about how we can/should be maximizing Google Wave.
